So how well was VU represented at the Severe Storms and Doppler Radar Conference in Des Moines, IA this year?
I had a few friends of mine from back in Indiana that attended, but haven't heard much from them on how it went. Anybody here in the forum attend?
Personally, I didn't make the conference, however, I will be attending the Northern Plains Convective Workshop in Aberdeen, SD from April 17th through the 19th (www.crh.noaa.gov/abr/?n=10th_npc_workshop.php). If anyone remembers Russ Schumacher ('01) he's presenting. Since I graduated with Russ and don't see many Valpo Alum up this way, I figured it would be nice to catch him. Aberdeen is only 4-5 hrs from Grand Forks. I think I can manage that.
