No they will go on the the Greek alphabet. As Jim Cantore said on the Wx Channel the other night, they will "Go Greek".

She's gaining strength and heading for the Hurricane Promise Land that is the Gulf. At least with it heading for FL, gas prices shouldn't jump back up.

THE RECONNAISSANCE PLANE MEASURED 175 MPH WINDS AND ESTIMATED A MINIMUM PRESSURE OF 892 MB. THIS IS THE LOWEST PRESSURE OBSERVED IN 2005 AND IS EQUIVALENT TO THE MINIMUM PRESSURE OF THE 1935 LABOR DAY HURRICANE IN THE FLORIDA KEYS. FORECASTER AVILA $$

As of 8AM the pressure has dropped a couple of more mbs down to 882mb.
RECORD PRESSURE CONFIRMED BY AIRCRAFT CREW...
so I guess it's official now...
